He is trained in Interventional Cardiology and previously served as a Consultant at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Akbar specializes in a wide range of cardiac conditions, including angiogram, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, congenital and coronary heart diseases, congestive heart failure, high cholesterol, hypertension, pericarditis, and ventricular tachycardia.
